Tara has played a key role in helping me discover my leadership.  I have been a manager for many years but through Tara’s guidance I feel I have truly found my leadership point of view.  Tara guided me in discovering my strengths and really playing into them versus focusing on my areas of improvement.  Tara’s coaching helped me garner the confidence and assertiveness that I needed to succeed.  Her self-reflection exercises lead me to a greater understanding of myself and my team.  I highly recommend Tara as a coach to professionals looking to enhance their leadership skills.

Working with Tara for executive coaching was a fantastic experience. Having the opportunity to get a 360 review and see my value to those around me was great. Better understanding my personality and saboteurs through assessment had me in a super critical mindset and knowing that others did not see me in the same light was inspiring. Knowing my strengths as well as my weaknesses has made me more aware of the skills I can leverage to move ahead and the pitfalls I need to keep an eye out for as I progress.

Positive Intelligence was great for shifting my mindset and an excellent way to process the feedback and insights I received at the beginning of the coaching process. I felt as though I was making real progress in short order because I felt unstuck. I still have the same saboteurs but have found that I’m able to recover from hijackings much faster and get back on track. I’m finding that it helps a lot to come to terms with the imperfect nature of the world in general.

Lastly, the coaching process has given me numerous resources that will be helpful throughout my career and life. Seeing that I can leverage knowledge about leadership and management rekindles my excitement to learn. I now have a clear picture of my objectives and a plan to extend them into the future. I would highly recommend coaching with Tara to anyone who has the opportunity.

When I first started the coaching sessions with Tara, I really wanted her to give me advice on how to improve and a step by step guide of how to make it happen. I learned early on this was not the game plan. Tara really got to know me, she dug in deep and together we discovered some obstacles inside me that were holding me back from success. I had no idea they were even there! Together we made a game plan on what I wanted to improve. She not only gave the tools to use to improve myself, but also gave me the encouragement to make it happen. It wasn’t always easy to look with in yourself and see what I first thought were faults. But through my time with Tara, I learned that she was coaching me on opportunities for improvement and that we should never give up on pushing to improve ourselves. She was working with me to create a better version on myself, one that is successful, and I could be proud of. I feel like a different person since I began this program. I now know how to set goals and make them a reality. Tara has also taught me how to make this growth sustainable in my future endeavors.

Tara is an excellent coach who has helped accelerate my career and helped me to achieve my personal life goals as well. Her consistent influence for me to implement Covey principles and values has inspired me to become a certified Covey Trainer. Specifically, her recommendations to “plan joy” and schedule time to plan the life I want to live were literally life changing!

As a senior project manager currently in transition Tara has played a key role in helping me find my next internal position.
